Braehead is renowned for its high rainfall, rich volcanic soil, lush native grasses with legume improvements.

They initially purchased one full blood wagyu cow and with artificial insemination, embryo transfer and further purchases now boast a herd of 100 fullblood cows and bulls. They have since expanded into F1 They are members of the Australian wagyu Association.
